SPLC Action Fund Endorses Mississippi Supreme Court Justice James Kitchens

JACKSON, Miss. — Today, the SPLC Action Fund endorsed Justice James Kitchens for re-election to the Mississippi Supreme Court in District 1, Place 3.

“For more than decade, Justice Kitchens has kept his oath to administer justice equally, ensuring all Mississippians have a voice on their Supreme Court,” said Madison Hollon, program manager of political campaigns for the SPLC Action Fund. “We are proud to endorse Justice Kitchens in this crucial election cycle where we’re facing an assault on our democracy and the rule of law.”

The SPLC Action Fund is focused on lifting up communities of color, particularly in the Deep South, who face systemic oppression, poverty and structural racism.
