SPLC Action Fund Endorses Candidates in Key Florida Runoff Races
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, the SPLC Action Fund endorsed candidates for school board and county commissioner in runoff races that will be decided on Nov. 5, 2024.
Endorsed candidates include:
- Hank Rogers, running for Duval County School Board for District 5, hopes to prioritize student needs on the school board. A dedicated public servant, Rogers is the COO of a youth-centered organization and serves on the board of Jacksonville Housing Authority and the Jacksonville Branch NAACP. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
- Nicole Wilson, running for Orange County Commissioner for District 1, hopes to continue her work strengthening community and promoting a policy of smart, sustainable growth. Wilson has extensive legal and public service experience in fighting for equal rights and environmental protection. She is an incumbent.

We are proud to endorse Hank Rogers and Nicole Wilson in their crucial runoff races.”
